An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted today from 8:30am through 12:30pm. There were 47 children in care with eleven staff. Children present ranged in age from infants years to five years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities including circle restroom routines, play activities, hand washing, diaper changing, lunch and nap. A violation was observed in the area of emergencies and appears on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on interview and review of emergency procedures the vendor failed to provide an emergency reunification plan. Evidence: 1 - The center does not have a reunification plan as a part of the evacuation procedures for the center. 2 - Staff 1 confirmed that there is not a reunification plan. Plan of Correction: Center management will create, write, implement and train staff in the centers reunification plan.
