67 Children were in care during the inspection. Children were observed during rest, free play and snack time. Ten children's files and seven staff files were reviewed. Inspection time 12:00pm- 3:30pm
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: Based on review of seven staff files not all were complete. Evidence: Staff B, with a hire date of 3/3/17 did not have documentation of orientation and there was no driving statement and staff B drives a bus. Staff C 3/27/17 Did no have a signed orientation by the person giving the orientation. and no documentation of a driving statement and staff C drives a bus. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observation some areas of the playground were not in safe and operable condition. Evidence: The wood holding the mulch on the play ground is deteriorating and exposing the nails used to secure the wood together. There are roots sticking up on the playground posing tripping hazards. The two picnic tables have screws sticking out . Plan of Correction: Not available online.
