An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:50 AM and ending at 9:37 AM. There were thirty-three children in care during the inspection. The children?s ages ranged between sixteen months and eleven years old. The toddler and two year old children were observed during free play. The preschool children were observed drawing. The school aged children were observed playing outside on the playground. Five children?s and three staff records were reviewed an in compliance. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, weather-band radio, and flashlight were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drills were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 12/16/2016. The most recent health inspection was documented as 01/24/2017. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on review of documentation, the center did not have a reunification plan in the Emergency Preparedness Plan. Evidence: The Emergency Preparedness plan did not include procedures to address reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child. Plan of Correction: The center created a written reunification plan during the inspection.
