An unannounced, non-mandated inspection to review Staff Records for 7 sites operated by HRCAP was conducted at the HRCAP central office on June 21, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Four Staff Records were reviewed for this site. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. Thank you for your time during today's inspection. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of assistance.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C Description: Based on a review of staff records and interview, the licensee did not ensure that at least every two years from the date of the first initial screening or testing, or more frequently as if recommended by a licensed physician or the local health department, all staff members obtain and submit the results of a follow-up tuberculosis screening. Evidence: Four staff records were reviewed. The record for staff #3 contained the most recent findings of a Tuberculosis screening which was dated 5/18/15 - more than two years ago. The Human Resources Coordinator assisting in the review confirmed that more recent documentation was not available. Plan of Correction: Staff #3 will obtain results of a new Tuberculosis screening within 2 weeks - or provide documentation of a more recent screening if one has been conducted.
