An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 3:30 PM and ending at 5:15 PM. There were seventy-nine children, ages seven months to twelve years old, in care during the inspection. The infants and toddlers were observed eating snack which consisted of cheese, crackers, and milk. The two and three year old children were observed playing ball on the carpet, playing games on the classroom computers, and with manipulatives. The older children were observed playing games, listening to books being read, and doing art projects. Eight children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. Five staff records were reviewed. Six medications were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as November 6, 2014. The most recent health inspection was documented as December 31, 2016. The most recent emergency evacuation drill was documented as July 6, 2017. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as January 12, 2017. The most recent lock-down drill was documented as February 24, 2017.
