Comments:
Today's visit was a routine monitoring inspection. The inspection began at 10:00am and concluded at 12:50pm. There were ten children present with two staff members in the classroom and additional school staff were also present. During the inspection the classroom was viewed, outside time was observed, two out of three staff records were reviewed, four of twelve children's records were reviewed, lunch time was observed, emergency supplies were reviewed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-C
Description: Based on the inspector's review of the the posted emergency maps, the center failed to ensure the maps include the the designated shelter in place location. Evidence: The posted emergency maps do not indicate the area used for sheltering in place.

Plan of Correction: The area will be indicated on the emergency maps.
