T.A. was given on emergency preparedness and background checks and ratio.
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/01/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspection began at 3:00 p.m. and ended at 5:00 pm. There were 38 children in in care with three staff. The children were observed playing outside, eating a snack, washing hands, having a bathroom break before snack andThree staff?s records and five children?s records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are identified on the violations notice. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-B Description: Based on interview, the center did not have all staff complete the VA Preservice Training within 90 days. Evidence: 1. The inspector reviewed three staff records. One of three staff had not completed the preservice training. Plan of Correction: The staff person will complete the preservice training.
