A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on this date to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 25 children with 2 staff present at the time of Inspector's arrival. Children were observed completing table top activities such as bingo, drawing with markers and colored pencils and completing homework. A nice transition was observed from cleaning up, obtaining their backpacks and lining up for outside play. Staff observed in the front of the line and one in the back of the line to ensure all children were within sight supervision. One medication on site, authorization complete. One child with a food allergy and allergy action plan was signed and maintained. Walk thru of programming area was conducted. A total of 7 children's records and all staff records were reviewed today. CPR/First Aid, MAT/daily health and Pre Service training was verified. Evacuation drills documented. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. This inspection began at 4pm and ended at 5:30pm. Please email with questions at: email@example.com
