Technical Assistance:
Please monitor water temperature in each classroom to ensure warm water is available.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 74 children with 17 staff were on site. Observation of all 6 classrooms and all playgrounds was made today. Classrooms were decorated with recent artwork that included the theme of apples based on the book of the week. Children were observed playing outside which included gross motor skills by jumping in hula hoops and waiting in line for their turn to jump. Children in the older classes were writing in their journals, practicing writing letters with staff encouragement. Two medications on site both of which were reviewed and authorizations were complete. A total of 7 children's records were reviewed and were found in compliance. Six new staff since the last licensing inspection. Background checks and all required recordation was in place. Staff presented knowledgeable of emergency procedures, methods of safely transitioning from outside to inside. Emergency evacuation drills, shelter in place and injury logs were reviewed.
