VENDSUB-000 SPECIAL CARE PROVISIONS AND EMERGENCIES
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today at 11:50am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 40 children under the supervision of 5 staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. . Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11 Description: Based on file review, 2 out of 2 children with allergies do not have all required information. Evidence 1. Children #1 and #2 do not have a written allergy care plan to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction Plan of Correction: The Director will have this completed.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-B Description: Based on a review of staff training, it was determined that five out of five staff have not completed all required training. Evidence: 1. Staff #1-#5 have not completed the required Virginia Preservice training course. Plan of Correction: The director will have all staff complete this.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan, it was determined that the plan is not complete. Evidence 1. The plan does not include procedures to reunite children with a parent or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child. Plan of Correction: The Director will add this to their emergency plan.
