A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 47 children in care, with a total of 5 staff members assigned to their direct supervision. This inspection took place during the before school program. The children were observed decorating and sewing pillows, making pot holders, reading books, engaging in small group classroom activities, and playing in the gym. Dismissal at the start of school hours was also observed. Children's records, required on site staff information, children's medications, emergency preparedness items, and the physical plant were inspected today. This inspection was completed between approximately 8:00 am and 9:10 am. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan, it was determined that this plan is not complete. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan does not include reunification plans and lockdown procedures. Plan of Correction: I will contact the SACC office to get the information and place it in our emergency preparedness binder.
