An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 2:00 PM and ending at 4:25 PM. There were fifty-five children in care, ages four months through four years old, in care during the inspection. The infants were observed singing songs and playing with manipulatives. One infant was observed being bottle fed. The toddlers were observed eating snack which consisted of apples, cheese crackers, and water. The two year old class was observed having a book read to them. The three year old class was observed playing with Legos and making slime. The Montessori class was observed using chalk and doing a spider art project. Five children?s records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Two medications were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency drill logs were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed an in compliance. The most recent health inspection was documented as March 1, 2017. The most recent fire inspection was documented as January 10, 2017.
