Technical Assistance:
The following was reviewed with administrative staff: *New background check requirements reviewed *Reporting requirements for an injury requiring outside medical treatment *Locking up of first aid supplies that are considered hazardous substances

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 11/09/2017 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. A total of 30 children were in care with seven staff. The children ranged in age from 3 years - 12 years. The inspector reviewed the afternoon preschool program and arrival of school age children from public school. Afternoon snack was observed in the school age class. Records were reviewed for ten children and seven staff. Additional areas of CDC standards reviewed included emergency supplies, documentation of children's injuries, written emergency plans and evacuation drills, hand washing, the outdoor play area and indoor areas used for the care of children.
