Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on November 9, 2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Upon arrival at 2:40 PM there were a total of twenty-eight (28) school age children under the direct care & supervision of four caregivers. Five children records, five staff records staff records, & two medication records were reviewed during today?s inspection. LI Anderson observed children during arrival/departure procedures, bathroom/hand washing procedures, snack/meal served, group activities, self-initiated activities and homework/quiet time. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. The Licensing Inspector for YMCA Afterschool Care @ Mt. Description: Based on reviewed of attendance records & discussion with the Site Director, the Vendor failed to maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents arrival of each child in care as it occurs. EVIDENCE: Staff did not document arrive times as it occured for several children who arrived after participating in other programs.
