Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 2:00 PM and ending at 4:10 PM. There were thirteen children in care of three staff during the inspection. The children?s ages ranged from five months through four years old. The children two, three and four year old children were observed asleep or resting quietly on their cots. The infants were observed playing with manipulatives and being held by staff. The two year old children were also observed playing outside in their recreational area. The three and four year old children were observed playing with blocks and dolls. Seven children?s records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site during the inspection. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 10/10/2017. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 7/3/2017. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as7/3/2017. The health inspection was documented as 9/1/2017. The most recent fire inspection was 9/12/2017.
