Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated today at 2:00pm. The physical plant, 5 staff files, 5 children's files, annual fire inspection, staff training, child nutrition, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected today. There were 59 children under the supervision of 11 staff. During the inspection, taking naps, waking up from naptime, cleaning up for and eating afternoon snack and enjoying free play. The children bring in their lunches and snacks daily from home. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-450-A
Description: Based on observations, the center did not have the required linens for children other than infants during the designated rest period. Evidence 1. In the upstairs room where children were sleeping, there were three children without a top and bottom cover or a one-piece covering which is open on three edges

Plan of Correction: The director will ask the parents to provide additional linens.
