Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on November 15, 2017 from 11:15 a.m. through 1:45 p.m. Upon arrival, there were nineteen (19) children in the care of two (2) staff. Five (5) children's records were reviewed. The records for two (2) staff were reviewed at the main Head Start office on September 13, 2017. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for two (2) children. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Areas observed were: outside play, hand washing/bathroom procedures, lunch, transition, story time and nap. Interactions between the staff and children were appropriate and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. The children have been completing seasonal activities for the fall months. There are a wide variety of age/stage materials for the children in care. If you have any questions and/or I may be of assistance with licensing standards, please contact me at (540) 430-9256.

Violations:
