Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 12:00 PM and 2:50 PM. There were 60 children in care during the inspection. The children?s ages ranged between six months and five years old. The infants were observed playing with manipulatives and being fed baby food. The older children were looking at books, playing with blocks, and preparing for nap time. The children were also observed resting on their cots during nap time. Eight children?s records and four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Eight medications were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 5/15/17.The most recent health inspection was documented as 10/19/17. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 11/30/17. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 9/29/17. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 3/31/17. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were observed and in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-80-A
Description: Based on review of the attendance record, the facility did not ensure all children were included on the written attendance record. Evidence: There were seven children physically present in the toddlder classroom but six marked present on the attendance sheet.

Plan of Correction: The facility will provide the coaching on the name to face recognition and Child Supervision Record (CSR) documentation.
