An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 12:15pm-1:40pm. At the time of entrance, 23 children were in care of 4 staff members present. Children were observed during outdoor play, handwashing and lunch. Positive interactions and guidance were observed between children and staff. A selection of 5 children records, emergency drills and emergency supplies were reviewed. No medications were on site during the inspection. Staff records are maintained at the primary location and will be reviewed at a later date. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-240-D-5 Description: Based on review, at least one staff member on duty did not have documentation of completing daily health observation training. Evidence: During the inspection, documentation of a staff member trained in daily health observations [DHO] was not available. Plan of Correction: We will obtain documentation.
