An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am to 11:30 am with the center director and staff. There were 56 children present, ranging in age from five months to five years old, actively supervised by 11 staff. Children were observed playing with toys, being diapered, listening to a story, transitioning to go outside, and participating in large motor activities. Five children?s records and five staff records were reviewed. Five medications for four children were reviewed. The last emergency escape drill was 1/23/18 and the last shelter in place drill was 12/18/17. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-B Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the facility did not use a leakproof covered receptacle for soiled linens. Evidence: There was a laundry basket, in the younger infant classroom, with no lid or liner and there was a soiled bib and burp cloth inside. Plan of Correction: Not available online.
