An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 8:40 AM and ending at 11:15 AM. There were eighty-four children were in care during the inspection. The children were ages 3 through 5 years old. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of bagel and cream cheese, orange juice, and milk. The children were also observed being read books, painting, dancing to music, and during free play. Bathroom and hand washing procedures were observed. Ten children?s records and five staff records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 01/12/18. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 10/19/17. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 10/02/17. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 01/24/2018.
