Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, February 22, 2018. The on-site inspection was conducted from 12:35 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. At the time of arrival there were 76 children in seven classrooms and in the care of 13 staff members with four staff members available to assist if needed. Total enrollment for the program was 138 children. The records for eight staff members were reviewed, and eight children's records were reviewed. There were eight staff members and four children interviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for two children. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed. Snack was observed to meet the USDA guidelines and consisted of graham crackers, bananas, and water. The current theme was President's Day . Some items observed and reviewed were: required posted information, injury reports, diaper ointments along with parent authorizations, emergency, lockdown, and shelter-in-place drills, water temperature, updated injury prevention plan and emergency preparedness plan, outdoor play area, infant care, infant feeding, diapering procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, nap time, snack, arrival of school-age children, and dismissal procedures.
