Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 2/23/18 from 11:10am to 12:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance there were 18 children ages one year old to five years old in care with six staff. Children were observed participating in various activities in the classrooms. Records were reviewed for five children and five staff . A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-032-A
Description: Based on a review of the emergency drill log, it was determined that the vendor did not ensure that the lockdown procedures are practiced annually. Evidence: 1. There was no documentation to demonstrate that the lockdown procedures were practiced during 2017. 2. Staff #1 (Program Director) reviewed the emergency drill log, but was unable to documentation during the inspection to demonstrate that a lockdown drill was completed in 2017.

Plan of Correction: The vendor responded: We will ensure that the lockdown procedures for our facility our practiced annually going forward.
