A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/23/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 9:30am and ended at 1:00pm. There were 48 staff with 9 children in 5 classroom/s at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed singing, participating in show-n-tell and eating lunch. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11 Description: Based on record review and interview, a written allergy care plan was not obtain for a child with a diagnosed food allergy. Evidence: Child #6 has a diagnosed food allergy and has emergency medication on-site. An allergy action care plan was not obtained from the child's physician with instructions and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Plan of Correction: I will go ahead and send the parents a message through our app and I will request it soon.
