Technical Assistance:
An exit meeting was completed by the licensing inspector with the center's director to review today's inspection findings. The inspector also reviewed the fingerprinting process.

Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from approximately 1:25 pm to 3:50 pm to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. During this inspection, the center's director and assistant director were present and accompanied and assisted the licensing inspector throughout this inspection. The children were observed by the licensing inspector in the various classroom settings. The census for today's inspection consisted of 72 children in care. Upon the licensing inspector's arrival, the children were napping and listening to soft music. The licensing inspector completed observations of the children in the various classroom settings during napping. During this inspection, a formal observation was completed by the inspector in the infants area in which they were observed completing a variety of activities to include interacting with staff, completing tummy time, playing with age appropriate equipment, diapering and feeding. The staff were observed by the licensing inspector providing age appropriate supervision and addressing the children's overall needs. The inspector interacted with the staff and children when appropriate throughout the inspection. There were also various activities and artwork of the children's displayed in the classroom settings. The required postings were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Medication is being administered; medications and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were five children?s records and five staff's records reviewed during this inspection. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies, classrooms, bathrooms, and designated areas for childcare were inspected. The violations from the previous inspection were checked for corrections, there were no repeat violations during today's inspection. There were no violations cited during this inspection. The Department has received a complete renewal application and annual fee from the center.
