Today an unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between the hours of 2:15pm and 4:15pm. I observed 34 children directly supervised by 2 staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed arriving to the program, washing hands, eating snack, and playing on the playground. Staff were actively engaged with the children and assisting them with tasks as needed. The physical plant, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. The cafeteria was found to be clean, safeguarded appropriately, and adequately supplied with equipment and supplies. Medication management was in compliance. Required staff training documents were on-site. Emergency preparedness supplies in order. Required documents posted. Record keeping was in compliance. Questions about this inspection may be directed to: email@example.com
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-F Description: Based on interview with staff and observation, the menu posted did not indicate any substitutions but the snack served did not match the menu. Evidence: The menu posted indicated that Baked Cheddar Goldfish would be served for snack, but children were observed eating Scooby-Doo Graham Cracker Sticks . Plan of Correction: We'll make sure that we check the menu and write substitutions as needed.
