Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, February 12, 2018 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 2:00pm and completed at approximately 4:18pm. Upon arrival, the following ratios were observed:

Two year old room: 2 staff/9 children
Three year old room: 1 staff/ 7 children
Preschool room #1: 2 staff/ 10 children
Preschool room #2: 1 staff/ 8 children
Four-Five year old room: 2 staff/ 12 children
School age room 1: 1 staff/ 8 children
School age room 2: 2 staff/ 10 children

Children were observed participating in educational activities, using the restroom, and eating snack. Today's snack consisted of baked chicken, carrots, oranges, a roll, apple juice, and milk. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. All classrooms were inspected to include main hallways and children's restrooms. Due to inclement weather, the outdoor playground could not be inspected on this day.

The center had the required postings displayed near the entrance of facility and in children's classrooms. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with required supplies found. Nine children's records and two new staff records were inspected with the required information found. The following was also inspected on this day: medication & authorizations, annual health & fire inspections, fire drill log, parent agreements, emergency preparedness plan, and other pertinent information.
