- Technical Assistance:
It is highly recommended that the program work with their Fire Marshal's office to review the center's current Evacuation Plan and request evaluation and feedback with an emphasis on evacuating infants. In addition, the facility should consult with their insurance provider with regard to their current infant evacuation procedures.
An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted jointly, by two licensing inspectors, on February 9, 2018 in response to a complaint that was received in the licensing office on December 14, 2017 regarding alleged noncompliance in the areas of staff to child ratios, nap periods, food services, equipment, staff qualifications, parent communication, emergency supplies and emergency procedures. Documentation and records were reviewed, observations were conducted in each classroom, staff were interviewed and the fire inspector for the center was consulted. Based on the information gathered, there was not sufficient evidence to support the allegations, with the exception of nap periods. That portion of the complaint is determined to be Valid. Violation cited is documented on the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation during the inspection.
