Discussed keeping original certificates for trainings on site.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 7:20am-9:00am. There were 28 children supervised by 3 direct care staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing board games, completing homework assignments, playing pool, and building with Legos. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, all children's records did not contain all required documentation. Evidence: 1. Child #1 (start date: 9/6/2011) and Child #3's (start date: 9/12/2014) records did not contain documentation of annual updates. 2. Child #2 (start date: 8/3/2015) and Child #4's (start date: 9/8/2015) records did contain documentation of all required parent work information. Plan of Correction: I will talk to the parents tonight.
