Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between 10:40am and 12:15pm. 55 children were directly supervised by 9 staff members. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 5 children's records, 4 staff records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, the menu and medications were reviewed. Medication management was in compliance. Required documents were posted. Children were observed in small group activities, music time, preparing for lunch, washing hands and interacting with staff members. Interactions were positive. Today's menu: turkey tacos w/whole wheat tortillas, corn, grated cheese and fresh fruit. The space was organized and contained an abundance of age appropriate materials. Walls were decorated with process oriented artwork to reflect spring and gardening. No violations were cited today.
