A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 05/10/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 4 classrooms operating during today's inspection. There were 19 children, ages 6 months-5 years, and 5 staff providing direct supervision present during today's inspection. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and 5 staff records during the inspection. This facility does not administer medication. The children were observed in the following activities: free choice center play, sand table play, working puzzles and stringing beads, story time, lunch and nap time. Infants were observed being fed and allowed to sleep on demand. The inspector reviewed the parent policies and the centers sunscreen policy. The inspector discussed the following with site staff: the new forms available to providers, playground equipment, children's immunizations and air temperature. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. An exit conference was held at the conclusion of today's inspection. The inspector arrived at 10:00 a.m. and departed at 1:50 p.m. Thank you for your time today. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Forestier at 540-309-2835.
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K. Eligible child care facilities must be fully licensed, licensed exempt and a VDSS subsidy vendor, or a voluntary registered day home and a VDSS subsidy vendor. Only programs enrolled in Virginia Quality will display a rating. Virginia Quality contact information for your region is available at the following link Regional Contacts.
