A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 5/14/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. 24 children were in the care of 4 staff present. A sample of 3 children's records, 3 staff records, medications, emergency drills and emergency supplies were reviewed/inspected. Children were observed during arts and crafts, games and outdoor play. There was an abundance of supplies available for children to engage with. Positive interactions were observed between children in care of staff. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Please contact me if you have any questions at Ivaco.Clarke@dss.virginia.gov or 571-835-5505. Thank you for your cooperation.
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
