22VAC40-191 Background Checks (22VAC40-191)
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-12:45pm. At the time of inspection, 161 children (two years through five years) were directly supervised by 26 staff and ratios were in compliance. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 5 staff records. Staff had current CPR, First Aid training, and MAT certification. Children were observed during snack time, observing and learning about a toad, practicing Spanish with sock puppets, and learning about animal homes. Handwashing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children.
