Technical Assistance:
Discussed structure with daily programming.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 35 children with 3 staff on site. Observation of the physical plant and programming was made. 5 children's records were reviewed. The children were answering attendance and transitioned to bathroom and hand washing prior to snack time. Snack today was graham crackers and milk. Some children observed eating snack brought from home. The children were busy with table top activities which included games, drawing and doing homework. Some violations were found today. MAT (medication administration training) training, Daily Health Observation training and first aid/CPR certifications were checked today. Description: Based on staff record review, some required information was not found. Evidence: No emergency contacts were found for one staff.

Plan of Correction: We will document emergency contacts for all staff and maintain them where they can be easily accessed.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-D
Description: Based on review of the evacuation drills, monthly drills have not been conducted. Evidence: The last documented evacuation drill was November 2017.

Plan of Correction: We will ensure that monthly fire evacuation drills are completed and documented monthly.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-N
Description: Based on observation of snack time, one child observed eating food while walking. Evidence: Child #1 was observed eating an apple while walking.

Plan of Correction: All children will remain sitting while eating and drinking at all times.

Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2
Description: Based on observation of the physical plant, one required posting was not found. Evidence: The most recent violation notice from the last licensing inspection was not posted.

Plan of Correction: We will post this inspection today.
