Discussed with director: potential room arrangements, mobile and non-mobile infant separation.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. All rooms are in ratio during the inspection. 2 staff and 4 children's records were reviewed. See violation notice for missing information. Medications, emergency evacuation drills, shelter-in-place drills, labeled infant bottles, injury reports and diapering were all in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based upon a review of records, one child's record does not include all required information. Evidence: 1 of 4 records reviewed was missing the documentation of having viewed the proof of birth document within 7 days of first attendance. Child 1: (Date of Enrollment 7/11/16). Plan of Correction: I will contact the parent and ask them to bring in the documentation.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A Description: Based upon a review of documentation, the most recent fire inspection available for review is dated more than 1 year ago. Evidence: The documentation available for review is dated as expiring 3/31/18. Plan of Correction: The fire marshal has been contacted and is schedule for an inspection 6/12/18.
