An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 9:30 am - 11:00 am. There were 55 children in care being supervised by 13 staff members. The children were observed participating in outdoor play, morning snack, circle time, and reading activities. Morning snack served today is pancakes and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed. Five staff records were reviewed and are in compliance. An allergy list was posted for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Allergy Care Plans were reviewed for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Five medications were reviewed and are in compliance. There are five staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. Training records were reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11 Description: Based on review of Allergy Care Plans and interview with administration it was determined that not all children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies had documentation of an Allergy Care Plan. Evidence: Child A with a diagnosed food allergy did not have an Allergy Care Plan on file. Plan of Correction: Administration will request an Allergy Care Plan from the parent of Child A.
