Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 12:20 PM and ending at 2:30 PM. There were 156 children, ages three months through five years old, in care during the inspection. The infants were observed being held by staff and playing with manipulatives. The older children were observed during nap time. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Thirteen medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was observed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 9/20/17.The most recent health inspection was documented as 10/3/17. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2
Description: Based on a review of documentation, it was determined that not all staff records had central registry findings within 30 days of employment. Evidence: The record for staff A with a hire date of July 14, 2017 did not have a central registry finding.

Plan of Correction: All staff will have Central Registry findings completed and in their files within 30 days of hire.
