Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing department on April 9, 2018 regarding allegations of the center being over ratio. The inspection was completed on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Interviews with staff were completed, observations were made in the center, and documentation was reviewed. The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. See the violation notice for more details. Description: Based on observation on 05/01/2018, the center did not ensure that for children from birth to the age of 16 months there was one staff member for every four children. EVIDENCE: There were nine infants and two teachers in the older infant class.

Plan of Correction: Staff and manager schedule was adjusted to provide more support in the morning.
Additional staff will be added to meet needs-Principal will be responsible for plan of correction.

Description: Based on observation on 05/01/2018, the center did not ensure that for children from three years to the age of eligibility to attend public school, five years by September 30, there was one staff member for every 10 children. EVIDENCE: There were 21 children and two teachers in the preschool (fours) class.

Plan of Correction: Staff and manger schedule were adjusted to provide more adjusted to provide more support in the morning.
The Principal will be responsible for hiring additional staff.
