An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 10:15 AM and ending at 12:28 PM. There were 111 children in the care of 22 staff members during the inspection. The children's ages ranged between 3 months through 5 years old. The infants were observed sleeping in cribs, playing in excersaucer, and being held by staff members. The older children were observed playing with manipulatives, singing and dancing, and playing outside on the playground. The preschool class was observed rehearsing for the graduation ceremony. Ten children's records and seven staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Five medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 5/21/18. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 11/17/17. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 10/1/17.
