Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. with the director and four staff. There were 57 children in care ranging in age from 5 years to 11 years old. Children were observed preparing for outdoor time, during outside play that included basketball, their choice of play equipment on the playground and other games. Children were observed during transition inside and hand washing to prepare for snack. Snack today was orange slices, cheese stick and ice water. After snack, children had quiet time that included blocks, checkers, and art. Seven medications, authorizations and administration logs were reviewed.
