A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 06/07/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted before school today. There are 2 staff with 14 children present.Children were observed participating in a variety of self directed and teacher guided activities. 2 staff records were reviewed for specific items only, as the full records are reviewed at the main office on another day. 5 children's records were reviewed. All were complete. First aid supplies, emergency supplies, injury reports and required posted documents are all in compliance. There are no medications present at the facility. The playground was not inspected this morning as it was not in use before school. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
