An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/29/2018 from 10:40 A.M.-12:30 P.M. At the time of the inspection, six children were in the care of two staff members. Five children's records, three staff records, evacuation drills, first aid kit and supplies, health and fire inspections, and required posted information were reviewed. Children were observed in a large group coloring activity, handwashing, snack, free choice play time, story time, practicing nursery rhymes for the end of year program, and departure. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-320-B Description: Based on observation, the center failed to provide disposable towels or an air dryer for the children to use to dry their hands. Evidence: There were no disposable towels or air dryer available for the children to use in the bathroom, but had a hand towel available for the children to use.
