A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on June 4 and June 6, 2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 63 children present, the children were observed in 6 classrooms. Observed activities included open play, hand washing in preparation for lunch, the lunch meal, nap/rest time, and dismissal procedures at the end of the program day. A sample of records was reviewed. Documentation of the annual fire and health inspections was current. Documentation of the practiced emergency drills was also reviewed. Medications were observed in the Center. The PD reported a lock down drill is to be practiced this month to include the school-age children. A licensing inspection was also conducted on the same dates as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Thank you.
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
