An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 9:40 AM and ending at 12:45PM. There were seventy-nine children in care during the inspection. The children's ages ranged between 8 weeks and 5 years old. The infants were observed sleeping in cribs, playing with soft toys, and doing "tummy time". The older children were observed being read stories by caregivers, painting, and during outside recreational time. Diaper changing, bathroom, and hand washing procedures were observed and in compliance. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Six staff records were reviewed. Seven medications were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 5/31/18. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 5/30/18. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 3/31/17. The most recent health inspection was documented as 10/19/17.
