A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
The school age children were preparing to leave on a field trip to Echo Lake Park. On one van there were eleven children with two staff and on the second van there were thirteen children with one staff.
Infant Classroom: seven children with two staff - observed providing individualized care.
Toddler Classroom: eight children with two staff- Circle time was observed. The children were counting to ten, identifying colors and shapes, and singing the alphabet song.
Two's Classroom: fourteen children with two staff -These children were making Father's Day gifts.
Three's Classroom: sixteen children with two staff - The children were playing outside and returned to prepare for lunch.
Lunch: Noodles with pepperoni, mixed spinach salad with ranch dressing, pineapple and milk
A practice shelter-in-place drill was conducted 3/20/18.
A practice evacuation drill was conducted 5/28/18.
SIx staff records and six children's records were inspected.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
