- Technical Assistance:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on June 12, 2018; beginning at 8:50 AM and concluding at 12:15 PM. The inspector met with the administrative staff and Child Day Standards were reviewed. The following child-to-staff ratios were observed in the classrooms: Infants 10:3, Toddlers 9:3, Two Year Olds 10:2, Preschool (3&4 year olds): 19:1 (later 19:2 and 19:3) (see the violation issued under the complaint inspection completed on the same date), Pre-K (4 and 5 year olds) 16:2. Age and stage appropriate activities were observed in all classrooms today. Lunch consisted of barbecue chicken tacos, corn, baked apples with pineapple, and milk. Medications and medication authorizations were reviewed. The playground and buses were inspected. There were multiple staff with MAT, First Aid, CPR, and daily health observation training. Five children's records and five staff records were reviewed this day. The facility has current liability Insurance. The Emergency Preparedness plan is current. Health Inspection: 4/6/18 Fire Inspection: 4/10/18. The most current emergency drills include a fire drill and a shelter-in-place drill on 5/22/18. The violations cited during the licensing period were checked for corrections. A complete renewal application has been received by the Department.
