An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. There were 68 children in care being supervised by ten staff members. The children were observed participating in free play, circle time activities, crafts, and outdoor play. Lunch served today is hamburger on wheat bun, banana, corn, and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed and seven staff records were reviewed. An allergy list was posted for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Allergy care plans were reviewed for children with diagnosed food allergies. Staff training records were reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training. If you have questions regarding this inspection you may contact Sharon Allen at 540-272-2941 or email@example.com.
