A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 06/18/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:50am-1:30pm. There were 18 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 5 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, writing letters, practicing letter sounds, coloring, and eating lunch. Today's lunch consisted of chicken tenders, Marinara sauce, breadstick, baby carrots, apples and milk. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. Description: Based on record review and interview, one staff member did not have a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid. Evidence: The record of staff#1 did not contain documentation of a current CPR and First Aid certification. The staff member's First Aid and CPR certification expired on 06/15/2018.

Plan of Correction: A class has been already scheduled.

Description: Based on review of emergency procedures, the lockdown emergency procedures were incomplete. Evidence: The lockdown emergency procedures did not include a reunification plan.

Plan of Correction: We will work on adding the information to the emergency procedures.
