Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on June 19, 2018 from 10:40 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. There were seventy-nine children in the care of seventeen staff. Seven children's records were reviewed and updated. Staff records were reviewed at Bright Beginnings Corporate Offices in December 2017. No medication is being administered at this time. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Areas observed were: outside play, story time, circle activities, art, hand washing/bathroom and diapering procedures, lunch and nap. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as positive and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
