A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on (insert date) to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted on June 7, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. There were one-hundred and five children in the care of twelve staff. Ten staff and ten children's records were reviewed on June 18, 2018. No medication is being administered at this time. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Areas observed were: hand washing/bathroom procedures, lunch, transition, outside play, departure to the pool and arrival at the pool. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as positive and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. Please contact me at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
